Dan is from Columbus Nebraska.  He has three beautiful daughters he is very proud of, and will be a grandfather in June.  He has had a very successful career with Benefit Management.
When Dan is not working or serving in the community he enjoys working out, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
 
Rotarian OF The Month
 
President Sara awarded Giving Spirits member Brad Brodersen the Rotarian of the Month award.  She noted Brads willingness to step in when ever asked and found a way to get it done.  A Gift Certificate was given to him for his efforts for the club.

Donations Needed
On March 30th we will be building Easter Baskets as we have in the past.  We are seeking donations for this service event.  You can also help out by writing out Cards of Encouragement - these can be small little notes we include in the basket with a positive inspirational message.  More information will be coming out over the next couple of weeks as we prepare for this service project.

  • Effectively communicate with our membership
  • Provide member pictures in announcements so members you have not yet met know who you are
  • Provides demographics on our club for recruitment and setting diversification goals.

2021 Annual Poker Tourney

Get your Poker visors and poker cards and start studying! Blake Collingsworth remains the man to beat.  We'll be hosting our poker tournament this year virtually -- for any of our members and guests who want to compete for standing -- as well as in person.

Rotary Leadership Institute
Take your Rotary leadership skills to the next level with RLI.  6-part series that can be taken in any order.  Next training is March 20 for 3rd part in the series.
 
The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a multi-district, grassroots leadership development program of member districts organized into regional divisions in various parts of the world.

RLI seeks to provide quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills to Rotarians interested in developing their Rotary participation and to those identified by Rotary Clubs as having a potential in club leadership. These educational opportunities will teach skills that will benefit the members in their lives and in their volunteer service.
